Welcome to the Trinity Episcopal School Website. We appreciate your interest in our school and I am pleased to share the exciting and exceptional programs that we have to offer. Trinity Episcopal School is committed to its mission, to maintain the highest academic standards within a Christian environment where each child's potential is maximized through the development of the individual spiritually, intellectually, physically, emotionally and socially.
How do we achieve such lofty goals? Through the dedication of a strong faculty, staff, board and parents who take an active part in their children's lives that these goals are realized. Trinity is much more than a school! It's a family, a mind set that we must all take part in the education and nurturing of our children, a place were morals, character and religious values help create a safe and wholesome environment that encourages individuality and growth. Expectations are high, but so is the belief in helping students achieve these goals. The administration and faculty work together to review curriculum, examine test scores, and share information concerning students and individual needs that encourage growth and respect.
Students start their day with prayer and study of scripture lessons and they attend chapel every Wednesday to worship together as a school family. The core curriculum is interlaced with supplemental programs that address individual student needs and challenge students to go beyond the classroom. Spanish, technology, science and an outstanding fines arts program help develop student's interests and provide additional learning opportunities for all students. Community service projects where students learn the value of volunteerism and giving are an integral part of Trinity, in the teaching of community, responsibility, and good citizenship.
The school believes that students must be given exciting and meaningful learning opportunities outside the classroom. Field trips, speakers, hands-on learning and an outdoor education program address these issues. Students are exposed to new experiences through camping, rope courses and camps that challenge our students in new areas. Students also have the opportunity to participate in extra-curricular programs such as volleyball, football, basketball, golf, tennis and cheerleading as they advance through intermediate and middle school.
This is only the surface of Trinity Episcopal School. The school lives in our students, parents, faculty and alumni, and your feel it when you walk in the door. I invite you to visit our campus if this is the type of educational experience you want for your child and family. Come take a tour, watch us in action, observe our students, visit with our parents, and stop by my office so we can visit about the many opportunities that exist here at Trinity.
Sincerely,
Jay Foreman
